Mitchell Community College, Huskins Library hosted the ABBY WINTHROP SMART GIRLS PROGRAM in July. The SWC invited the campers to the historic clubhouse to paint rocks for SWC Kindness Garden located in downtown Statesville’s Pecan Park. Thirty-two campers, two staff, two camp volunteers and five SWC members assisted. (Sherrill, L.A. 2023).
