In the spirit of the Holiday Season, the SWC participated in the Statesville Police Department’s toy drive. The collection was the December project, in conjunction with the annual Holiday luncheon. Members brought unwrapped toys and placed under the Clubhouse Christmas tree, from the end of November to December 10th. The toy drive was a success with over 50 toys collected! A Statesville Police Officer said: “The excitement and the joy on the faces of those we’ve reached is absolutely priceless and we can’t stop smiling! Our final numbers have come in – we provided 526 children in the community with toys for Christmas!” The generosity of SWC helped spread joy to children of Statesville during the Christmas season.
