The community was invited to donate supplies to benefit My Sister’s House residents (during February). GFWC-NC SWC President Dana White is pictured in the post with a trunk full of household supplies destined for My Sister’s House thanks to the generosity of members and the community.
The Feb meeting was sponsored by the SWC Community Impact Team hosting speakers from My Sister’s House: Brittany Campbell (Director); Aubriegh Heisler (Counciler) and Emily Cowan (Domestic Violence Advocate). Representatives discussed the mission and ways the community can help with needed items. At the meeting, 63 caring toiletry bags were assembled, and additional supplies gathered as part of the club’s current collection of “Love Our Sisters” items for donation. (Sherrill, L.A., 2024)
