TAKE OUT HUNGER DAY – National Day of Service

GFWC National Day of Service for the Statesville Woman’s Club is being observed as TAKE OUT HUNGER DAY. This is a joint community event with Yokefellow Ministries to make an impact on food insecurity.   TAKE OUT HUNGER DAY will be hosted from 11 AM – 1 PM; SWC and community volunteers are needed from 10 AM – 2 PM.  Our intention is to serve Southside Statesville (Iredell County) residents who are experiencing food insecurity.  Volunteers are needed to patty burgers, (perhaps) help cook/grill, prepare take out boxes and pass out boxes to event attendees.
